ISE 2014 Product Picks – InvisiBezel
With video walls continuing to grow both in size and popularity, there has always been one issue that affects the large format experience – the bezel. Despite bezels (the area that frames each screen and creates a gap between neighbouring screens) shrinking more and more each year at exhibitions, Denmark’s dnp have taken a different approach with their InvisiBezel technology.
InvisiBezel is an optical front cover that is mounted over the top of standard LCD panels and the edges of the acrylic cover contains prisms that optically stretch the pixels. Currently available for 46” “super-narrow bezel” LCDs from the likes of Samsung, Panasonic and NEC, the illusion creates a gap less than 1mm wide with the additional positive of protection from scratches.
Below is a demo video showing a comparison of a video wall both with and without the cover. If you would like more information on this product, please feel free to contact us.
