Product Spotlight: AVer TabCam
We may have commented on the use of visualizers before but it appears that AVer have broken the silence and released a further evolution to the technology. The TabCam is the first of its kind to work wireless making it even easier for teachers or presenters to engage. This BETT Award finalist product takes advantage of the ever-growing BYOD craze and is paired up with an app available on Android and Apple that controls the visualizer, including – annotating, zooming, freezing, sharing and more.
Leave your students to present something on their desk whilst you are at the other end of the classroom, annotating and helping control what is seen by the rest of the class. The quality of the image is as high as ever and once again, the app allows you to improve it further with brightness and contrast tools and a focus button. The recording function means your lesson or meeting can meet recorded live and shared immediately across social media networks or on an email so no one misses out, and if you don’t have a tablet, the app can be downloaded in software form to any desktop PC.
