Sony projectors get a revamp
Manufacturer Sony is keeping up with the times by giving 11 of their projectors updates to assist the education and corporate sector. Their Ultra Short Throw S Series now offer auto calibration, teaching features, video capture and video conferencing capabilities so that less equipment is needed for integration.
Realising the boom of BYOD, all the projectors from the D-Series, E-Series and S-Series are now capable of wireless, so presentations can be run from a tablet or smartphone belonging to teachers, students or visitors. The products use an application called VueMagic Mobile Presenter, which can be used on most devices with the latest version of iOS (and Android from October).
Other features across the three series are dedicated to keeping as eco-friendly as possible, with an auto lamp dim and an Auto Brightness Adjustment Function, which both reduce the energy consumed and extend the projectors’ lifetime.
All of these projectors will be available in the next few weeks. If you would like further assistance in choosing the right projector for you, Sony or otherwise, please feel free to contact us for advice.
